Minghsin campus is located in a picturesque town of Xin-feng in Hsinchu County. The campus is more than 30 hectares, with Provincial High Road right at the edge of campus field and only 15 minutes driving distance to First National Highway. There are lush foliage all around school site. In the day time, one can overlook the Taiwan Strait from the angle of Feng-shan Creek. When the nightlights are on, it is the most romantic night view in the vicinity. The affluent resources surrounding Xin-feng provide students a suburban atmosphere to focus their academic pursuits with the University Motto - “Perseverance, Innovation, and Creation”, all intended to encourage students to advance in intellect and to practice ethics.

The Hsinchu Administrative District includes Xiangshan and covers an area of about 104 square kilometers. It has gained considerable prosperity and an international reputation since the creation of the Hsinchu Science-based industrial Park. Hsinchu City is located in the northwestern part of Hsinchu County, its highest point rising only 120 meters above sea level. The Hsinchu plain slopes upward to the east, and merges into Eighteen Peaks Mountain and Niupu Mountains. Most of the eastern part of the county is covered with foothills and small mountains.
